Do push ups until you can't do any more, then do one more, and you'll know exactly how Newcom feels in the top row. She knows if you just keep pushing, and don't let your quitter knees hit the deck, you can get that last push up.

Of course Basher isn't about to let her win.

That's enough PT for now, next week its back to Rikkit, where Buck has an eye in the sky.

because

you aren't going to be ready to go hand-to-hand or move heavy equipment after a round of diamond pushups.

Have worked with and for Marines including females in 38 1/2 years as a Navy civilian. I sincerely hope you're not strongly implying that women can't hack the physical requirements. The female Marine colonel that headed our department for 2 years had all of us civilians taking short afternoon PT breaks.

I'm glad to see you here, I hope you'll stick around! The question you're asking is at the heart of this whole effort. So I can't answer it in a comment, except to say that it's way more complicated than how many push ups you can do - that's what I'm hoping to show.
