When the Israeli Army was introduced to the Sagger Anti Tank Guided Missile in 1973, people thought the tank had become obsolete. What happened instead was an arms race, as the ATGM's got better and better and armor evolved new ways to defeat it. I'm not sure who's winning right now, as a former tanker I have to believe in the tank. I suppose it will always be situation dependent. What I know for sure is that stationary tanks at 3500 meters are sitting ducks. But the Abrams has a special defense against shaped charges...

Yeah, I get it that the bridge is out, but why the hell are they just sitting there? They might as well be pillboxes for all that's worth.
